Design
The process begins in our Istanbul studio, where every idea is developed with an uncompromising focus on detail, functionality, and the brand’s contemporary aesthetic. The design phase itself can take up to six months – from initial concept to the final prototype – to achieve a perfect balance of style and quality.
Once approved, the model is handed over to our artisans, where the bags come to life.
This marks the beginning of the true crafting process – creating a single Neri Karra bag requires around 50 hours of dedicated work from a team of skilled craftsmen, with every piece made with care, skill, and attention. With over 10 years of experience, each artisan is a master of their craft, ensuring precise construction and an exceptionally flawless finished product.
Materials & Craftsmanship
The materials we use are selected with utmost care for quality and durability. Every piece of leather is inspected by hand by our artisans, who meticulously remove even the smallest imperfections. Throughout the crafting process, high-precision tools are used to preserve the material’s natural texture. The lining, custom-made exclusively for Neri Karra, is treated with the exact same level of attention as the exterior. Handles feature our signature hand-stitching – a hallmark of the brand that guarantees exceptional strength.
Hardware & Metal Accents
Our metal hardware is designed and crafted entirely in-house by the Neri Karra team – from the initial concept to the final hand-finish. Every detail is precisely polished and plated with palladium – a precious metal renowned for its lightweight quality and resilience.
Final Details
Before leaving our atelier, every bag undergoes rigorous quality control – inspection, cleaning, and final finishing touches. This unwavering attention to detail ensures flawless quality, turning every creation into a true reflection of precision, craftsmanship, and dedication.
